A restaurant with no menu?! That's what you'll find at Brazas Brazilian Grill where food is served “rodizio,” the Brazilian way of presenting a large sampling of meats and side dishes.

Servers bring tableside their choice cuts of meats including charbroiled beef ribs, pork ribs, garlic steak, lamb, chicken, pork tenderloin, top sirloin, flank steak, bottom round steak, turkey wrapped in bacon, and sausage. More exotic meats, such as alligator and rabbit, are also served.

The many side dishes are served buffet-style from the cold and hot bars. Brazas's cold bar includes the ingredients for a nice garden salad, as well as a varied selection of prepared salads. The hot bar includes cooked vegetables, stews, and of course rice.

Among the popular side dishes is feijoada, a bean potpourri dish. Another popular side item is couve mineira - collard or mustard greens cut in very thin strips and fried at the last minute in oil, garlic, and bacon. Romeu e Julieta is a dessert-style side made of special soft cheese and goiabada, a paste with guava fruit.

Rice is the main staple of Brazilian cuisine and is the ideal companion for feijoada. Rice is customarily presented with farofa - mandioca meal fried with a variety of ingredients including bacon, garlic, onion, and boiled eggs.

Fatias de laranja, or orange slices, are featured in some of the dishes; the citric acid in the oranges is supposed to counteract the fat in the pork. So...enjoy!
