Christina and her husband Ross live in the Temple Heights neighborhood of East Charlotte. After 25+ years of service as an Environmental Scientist and Urban and Regional Land Use Planner, and raising a family in New Jersey, Christina now calls East Charlotte home because of its vibrant and diverse people, cultures, food, and proximity to uptown. Christina is currently conducting research on community resilience to natural disasters as part of the Public Policy Ph.D. program at UNC-Charlotte. Her experience with, and commitment to, strong community connections for all reflects her interest in serving as a CharlotteEAST Board and Transportation Committee member. On any given day you might come upon her and Ross walking their fabulous little dog Stella through East Charlotte or exploring the richness of culture and enjoying the cuisine from all corners of the globe.
