A native South Carolinian, Mike Sullivan has lived much of
his life in east Charlotte, and calls the Echo Hills neighborhood home. He has been a commercial real estate broker for more than twelve years and presently works with The Nichols Company focusing on Eastside redevelopment and historic properties. Mike recently (Spring 2016) completed his Masters Degree at UNCC in history. Over the years, he has served on numerous boards and commissions including Charlotte Historic Districts, Preservation North Carolina and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Historic Landmarks Commission, serving as Chair in his final year (2005-2006). He presently serves on the City of Charlotte’s Planning Commission, is a founding member of the Charlotte Gold District, and is in his second year as co-Chair of CharlotteEAST.
